DAITO KASEI EUROPE and DAITO KASEI INDUSTRIES FRANCE were invited to an event themed around “Japan” organized by the Val-d’Oise Economic Development Agency (CEEVO).

The event featured cultural and economic programs, and our company participated in a roundtable discussion on economic matters.

Our overseas operations were initiated following the visit to Japan by a delegation from Val-d’Oise in 1987. During the meeting, we presented an overview of our company and our relationship with Val-d'Oise, and subsequently shared episodes about cultural differences between France and Japan.

Although the venue was not large, it was clear that the participants held a strong interest in and affection for Japan, and we were deeply pleased by the warm atmosphere.

We understand that this was CEEVO’s first initiative of this kind, with plans to continue increasing the number of “Japan fans” going forward.

Our company began its overseas business operations thanks to our connection with the Val-d’Oise and has steadily grown since then. Given this background, we were deeply honored to participate in this event.
